THE REALITY OF THE ODIANI CLAN TODAY IN ANIOMA.
Towns that make up the Odiani Clan. Ugbodu-uno,Ukwunzu,ogodo,Ugboba,idumu ogo and Ubulubu. Ugbodu and Ukwunzu are bilingual towns (heavily infiltrated olukumi and Enuani). The remaining 4 are only (Enuani) igbo speaking. Making the odianis fully western/delta igbos. The head/chairman of Aniocha North council of traditional rulers is the Obi of ogodo . Culturally(food,attire....etc) we share with the rest of Aniocha. The fact that part of the odianis migrated from owo doesn't in anyway make them citizenry of ondo or yorubas as I see some full grown adults wallowing in confusion and identity crisis which is very pitiable. I read on a page somewhere where an indigene of ugbodu was being confused on what ethnic group to write down on an application form,and that was so shocking to me . We are not the only people who migrated from a particular place or have a mixed migration ......there are alot of towns in Anioma that trace thier origin to Edo,igala etc. Even in the
